joseph_bowersJoseph Bowers has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and corporate leader guiding innovation-based organizations and start-ups through transformational projects from inception to growth phases.

At Safe Harbor Consulting, Joseph’s coaching practice emphasizes holistic strategies designed to facilitate purpose, productivity and human connection. He draws from his extensive history working in executive, peer-to-peer networks to help leaders and their teams conduct more meaningful dialogue with each other to promote a healthy exchange of learning and knowledge — between employees, customers, and other members of a global organizations.

He has founded and led startups, large-scale corporations, and government projects alike in Atlanta, St. Louis, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Shanghai, China. His work spans multiple industries, including real estate, education, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, media, supply chain, and membership organizations.

Currently, Joseph is co-founder and CEO of CREATiON@Serenbe, a world-class learning destination providing experience-based programming for professional and personal growth, led by world-class subject-matter experts and practitioners.

Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer for real-time learning delivery platform Geniecast, which he also co-founded. He was also the Chief Networking Officer for the Young President’s Organization (YPO), building out YPO’s Global Mentoring Program. At YPO, he also modernized the organization’s Member Networks platform, which connects CEOs based on their personal, professional, and philanthropic pursuits and encourages members to give back via avenues such as public policy, family business, and humanitarian health.

He is a certified facilitator in change management workshops, IDEO’s Design Thinking Workshops, and he is a Myers-Briggs coach and Forum Facilitator.

Joseph lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and two children. When he’s not watching his kids compete on the track or soccer pitch, he may be found performing around the southeast with his Bluegrass band.
