John "Pepper" Bullock
Corporate Educator & Founder

John “Pepper” Bullock is a longtime corporate educator and the founder of Safe Harbor Consulting. As a Professional Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation, he specializes in helping executives from a variety of fields reach their leadership goals through practicing awareness and behavioral change.

Pepper started Safe Harbor Consulting after noticing the vast numbers of business leaders who were experts in their fields but struggled to effectively manage their teams and bottom lines. To help leaders solve such issues, he focuses on conversing with them about their own behaviors and examining how those behaviors can be reset to enhance their teams, companies, and, ultimately, their careers. As these individuals travel their path to change, Pepper can serve as an experienced guide or even as just a thought partner to help them explore new opportunities.

Before starting Safe Harbor Consulting, Pepper worked for 34 years with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, acting as the Managing Partner in Atlanta for a large portion of that time. In 2007, he decided to shift his own path, completing the Executive Coaching Certification Program at Georgetown University and turning his focus to coaching others.

His Breakthrough Outcomes program is a seven-step process that draws on Pepper’s years of experience in business and transformational coaching, and developed to help leaders improve their strategy and innovation skills.

In addition to his coaching work, Pepper is also on the board of directors for CREATiON Management Companies which is developing two executive retreat centers at CREATiON@Serenbe and CREATiON@Sanctuary. He also serves as Creator Director for The Academy@CREATiON.

Bullock received his Bachelor of Arts from the College of William & Mary and his certificates in Transformational Coaching and Becoming a Mentor Coach from Georgetown University. His professional training also includes certificates from Tuck Business School at Dartmouth, Harvard Business School, Goizueta Business School, Emory University, University of California at Berkeley and The Disney Institute.
